The “When I die” folder
Your family picks up one folder and knows where your assets are, what you owe and what you value. One Will service fee covers all five; the four beside your Will are complimentary.
FAQ
Is a Pair Will the same as a joint Will?
No. A Pair Will is two separate Wills, one for each spouse, drafted to work together. Each spouse can still change their own Will later.
How much does a Will for husband and wife cost in Singapore?
A Pair Will is two Individual Wills drafted together. Contact Alps Wills® for the fee, as it depends on whether a testamentary trust is needed. Without a testamentary trust, it is a flat rate. LPA setup, a home visit and safekeeping of each second original are included.
What is a mirror Will?
A mirror Will is the common name for two Wills with matching terms, usually for a couple. Our Pair Will is two mirror Wills drafted together.
Mirror Will vs mutual Will: which is a Pair Will?
A Pair Will is a mirror Will. Each spouse keeps the right to change their own Will. A mutual Will adds an agreement between the spouses not to change it, which a Pair Will does not include.
What happens if we both die at the same time?
Each Pair Will sets out who inherits if both spouses die together, so the estate reaches the people you chose rather than following the intestacy rules.
Do both Wills name the same guardians?
Yes. Both Wills name the same guardians and substitutes for your minor children, so there is no conflict.
Does marriage affect a Will made before it?
Yes. Under the Wills Act, marriage revokes an earlier Will unless the Will was expressed to be made in contemplation of that marriage.
